Lion Brewery - Lionshead IPA?

imageHere’s an interesting and confusing packaging approval from this morning.  This is the keg packaging for something called Lionshead IPA.  The ABV certainly matches up to their regular Stegmaier IPA so I’m not sure what the Lionshead designation is doing on the packaging, but stay tuned for further details.

Probably another ill-planned, half hearted marketing effort by the Lion.

Thanks Anon...it's more likely Steg IPA re-packaged. It's a good IPA worth trying...are you basing that opinion on something specific?

I agree tne IPA is solid, but Lion seems to change their marketing strategy often. Guess they have given up on their half hearted attempt to rebrand Stegmaier as a craft beer then? they should try to be more like Dundee or Saranac before they try to be Sierra Nevada IMO.

I don;t think they've given up on Steg my any means. I suspect this is a one-off trial and nothing more (and not an indication of marketing strategy).
